Pugo Bamboo Center
At Pugo Bamboo Center, CBDI has seedling nurseries, charcoal-making kilns, and a primary processing center to transform poles into immediately usable commercial bamboo components for basket weavers, furniture makers, shelter builders, handicraft industries and many other applications. By establishing the center, CBDI hopes to awaken Filipinos to the potentials of bamboo by providing awareness, basic knowledge and hands-on training on bamboo cultivation complete with accommodations for those who want to fully immerse themselves in the farm or just looking for a place to stay in La Union.
Currently under construction, CBDI will also soon have a training and multipurpose hall that will be 150 square meters big with around 100pax capacity depending on intended activity.
The hall can be rented for various activities from workshops and seminars to social events such as corporate and family milestones.
