Bamboo charcoal absorb odor and pollutant particles by trapping them while air or water flows through the pores, purifying the surrounding air or water in the process. It is environmentally friendly and is an ecologically responsible replacement for chemical and synthetic deodorizers, purifiers, and fertilizers. Because of the bamboo charcoal’s natural absorption characteristics coupled with its significant surface area make it an effective absorbent.

What is Activated Bamboo Charcoal?
Activated Bamboo Charcoal is a non-carcinogenic, odorless, and tasteless substance that can absorb and adsorb harmful toxins, gases and chemicals inside and outside our bodies. It can regulate humidity, absorb mold, filter the air and eliminate foul odors in cars, fridges, rooms, closets, cabinets and shoes. It can also be used for air filtration and water filtration. Activated Bamboo Charcoal compared to regular charcoal is four times stronger in its absorption rate.
How Does It Become Activated?
It goes through a double carbonization process. First, the bamboo is cooked for about 8 hours with a constant temperature of about 200-300 degree Celsius to turn it into regular charcoal. After an overnight cool down process, it goes through an activation process. Activation of ordinary charcoal requires at least 1,000 degree Celsius or higher for 2-3 hours to further open up the pores of the bamboo. The result is Activated Bamboo Charcoal (ABC), also thanks to our newly perfected charcoal-making technology registered under the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines.
